Before founding the York Pain Center in 2023, Dr. Jason Brajer became board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management after completing his training at Thomas Jefferson University in 1985. He earned his Medical Doctorate in 1980 from Hahnemann University [now Drexel University] and his BA degree from Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Brajer has been in clinical practice for more than 30 years. Early in his career he was in hospital practice primarily providing anesthesia services in the operating room, as well as some pain management. Thereafter, from 1994 to 2008, Dr. Brajer was the Vice Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology and the Medical Director of the Frank J. Tornetta School of Nurse Anesthesia at the Montgomery Hospital Medical Center in Norristown PA. In 1998 Dr. Brajer became the founding Director of the Montgomery Pain Center. Since 2008, Dr. Brajer has been in private practice devoting 100% of his time to Interventional Pain Management.

Dr. Brajer has given over 50,000 spinal injections in his career and does virtually all the currently approved and accepted interventional pain management injections and procedures on the entire spine, PRP and stem cells for major joints, sympathetic blocks for CRPS / RSD, injections for PTSD and spinal cord stimulator trials. All injections and procedures are done under local anesthesia in our fluoroscopy suites. This means you do not need a driver; you are to take your usual medications on schedule, and you may even have a small meal a couple hours before the procedure.
